Founded in 1850, the Elora & Salem Horticultural Society is proud to be the oldest horticultural society in Ontario.
For more than 175 years, we have brought together gardeners, plant lovers, and community members who share a passion for growing and beautifying our community. In addition to tending our own gardens, we help maintain public flower beds throughout Elora and Salem, organize educational lecture meetings with guest speakers, host plant sales and garden tours, and create opportunities for members to learn, connect, and give back. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just discovering a love for plants, you'll find inspiration, friendship, and plenty of opportunities to grow with us.
